ABOUT DEAR BOLSOVER
When we launched Dear Bolsover, we invited everyone from schoolchildren to lifelong residents to write letters to their hometown.
People responded with warmth, humour and honesty. They wrote about the places that make them proud, the faces they cherish and their dreams for what Bolsover could become.
This project became more than a creative exercise. It became a celebration of belonging, identity and shared pride.
ABOUT DEAR BOLSOVER
Over the course of the project, hundreds of letters and creative submissions poured in.
These contributions were displayed in exhibitions, shared through social media and used to spark conversations about Bolsover’s future.
Through Dear Bolsover, our community rediscovered what connects us: our stories, our values and our vision for the district.
