SUPPORT THE BOLSOVER 10K THIS DECEMBER
Organised by North Derbyshire Running Club, the Bolsover 10K has become one of the District's biggest annual sporting events. Around 1,250 runners are expected to take part, with participants travelling from across the region to experience the unique route starting and finishing at Bolsover Castle. The event raises thousands of pounds for local causes each year and simply couldn't happen without the support of volunteer marshals and event helpers.
The organisers are looking for friendly marshals and event helpers to help keep runners safe, provide encouragement and ensure the day runs smoothly.
Volunteer roles include:
Course marshalling
Water station support
Medal and T-shirt distribution
Encouragement!
Most volunteer shifts will take place between 7.30am and 11.30am, and all volunteers will receive a hot drink and breakfast sandwich as a thank you.
