Bolsover District Council has launched the Community and Place Fund as part of its UK Shared Prosperity Fund allocation.

Exciting news for one of the East Midlands’ last remaining colliery sites - Pleasley Pit Trust has received a £93,735 grant from The National Lottery Heritage Fund, helping to secure a sustainable future for this much-loved local landmark. The funding will support the creation of a new Development Worker role, a key position designed to help the Trust grow its community activities, strengthen partnerships, and create more opportunities for local people to get involved.
