How can history spark new voices?
That’s the question at the heart of the Inspiring Voices Poetry Festival, a creative programme inviting young people aged 11-25 from across England to explore the stories, people, and landscapes of heritage through poetry.
Running from 3 November 2025 until 27 February 2026, this festival, hosted by English Heritage and TORCH (The Oxford Research Centre in the Humanities), offers more than just a competition. It’s a platform for discovery, connection, and creative transformation, where the past becomes the inspiration for new artistic expression.
